Admission

Applications for Bachelor's, Master's and Master's degree programmes starting in September 2023 can be submitted via the E-Admission platform until 15 February 2023. For detailed information on the rules and procedures, please see the Admission Guide on felvi.hu. For information on the faculty's courses and admission, please see Studies and Admission.

For up-to-date official information on the admission procedure, we recommend that you visit the official website of the higher education admission procedure, felvi.hu. The higher education admission prospectus is the most reliable source of information on which courses to choose. The easiest and safest way to complete the admission procedure is to use eadmission, where you can submit your application and upload the necessary documents at any time during the application period.

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Miskolc provides education at all three levels of the Bologna system of higher education and in the form of an open university degree.

For our BSc and teacher training courses, the application requirement is an intermediate school leaving certificate, except for languages.

The upper secondary school-leaving certificate (or diploma and a state-recognised intermediate language examination in the language concerned) is only retained as an entry requirement for the BSc in English Studies, the BSc in German Studies and the teacher training programme for teachers of English language and culture or German language and culture.
